Hello Family, Hope everyone is doing well. I am sorry that I have not been able to update this website as often as I should. Due to the sliding economic condition in the U.S., many of us have chosen a different route in our income-generating careers. I have taken another job promotion in North Carolina and I am able to come home only on every other weekend. I have taken this route due to I haven't made extra income from my second job as a Realtor due to the downhill in real estate industry. This promotion will at least sustain my income to continue to help out our family members back home and to keep this website and my other humanitarian website projects afloat. I am writing this message because I would like to seek assistance from our Mutia family in Canada. My oldest sister's daughter and her engineer husband (who is presently working in Saudi Arabia) are immigrating to Canada, and would need relative references who live in Canada. Would anyone like to offer their names w/address and phone numbers as reference sponsors to help facilitate their move? I assure you that they won't be festering you for anything, other than reference names of relatives in Canada. They are both intelligent professionals and very well-civilized in manner. Please send me your names and addresses if you would like to offer your names as relative references.
You can email me: mutiaofelia@yahoo.com Thank you and God Bless the Mutia family. Love, Angging

Hello Rod,
We come from one solid Mutia Tree of Bohol. If you read the History of the Mutia family, we are one family tree. Please tell your father that he needs to gather the family branches of Mutia in Mindoro because they all came from Bohol. I have received an email from a Mutia family also from abroad and they came from Mindoro. According to her historical background, the Mutia family of Mindoro originated from Bohol. The Mutia elders were on business-barter system who used to travel by "banka" but they were stuck in Mindoro when they encountered typhoon. So, they settled there and raised families.
Please have your family send me your Mutia branches so that we can introduce you to the KSMMI Mutia clan.
Take Care and God bless!!! Tita Angging |

Hello Family!!! Once again as we are approaching to close the year 2008, I want to thank you for your continued love and support to this website. As mentioned in many pages that the mission of this project is to provide humanitarian efforts for all Mutia Family-KSMMI. To this date, this website has not accomplished the scholarship foundation project. For that matter, I encourage everyone to help us solicit advertising campaigns on Philippine businesses (such as Philippine Airlines, etc) so that we can generate sources to fund for that project. I am doing everything I could to generate funds via the google ads. Unfortunately, not many are visiting those google ad sites and therefore, nothing is generated to "kick off" the scholarship foundation. You don't have to purchase from those ads, just visit and see if there is anything that you think is helpful for your needs, and if so, that's the only time that you decide if you want to purchase. At least by clicking the sites, it will generate small amount of money to start our scholarship fund. Meantime, as everyone knows how our world economic condition (especially here in the U.S.) is BAD, I am not able to generate a second income to help fund my projects such as this website. My second job as a Real Estate Agent is "kaput" and so, financing this site is at risk. Therefore, I left my regular full-time job as a Registered Dietitian and have taken a promotion supervisory assignment for career and financial advancement. It is still within the Federal Govt. Such assignment will provide me with a secure future. However, it requires me to be away from home for an extended period. What this means is I won't be able to make updates on this website, such as photo postings and other information that you would want to be dissiminated fast, except via Guestbook entries. This means that I will only be at home once or twice a month in the next 2 years. Hopefully, by that 2nd year I can find my way to return to a similar job and pay in the Atlanta area. Please understand that I will continue to do the best I could to keep this website alive to benefit everyone from our hometowns. Again, thank you and may God Bless us always!!! Love, Angging

Hi Dindo,
A couple of years ago, I received an email from a Mutia family in Europe who originated from Romblon. My father mentioned to me that when he was assigned as a Customs Inspector in that area, he met several Mutia families which he said, originated from Bohol. According to history, the Mutia from Romblon were businessmen who did the "bartering system" in Romblon. While there, a bad storm or Typhoon hit the island and their boats were damaged. Completely stranded and unable to find means to go back to Bohol, these Mutia folks decided to settle and married in Romblon. And so, the rest is history.... So, the Mutia from Romblon came from the Mutia family in Bohol and we all came from the same Mutia Family Tree.
You are one of the Mutia members that we need to find and reconnect with the rest of us. So, I would like to know if you could help me (with your family), gather in chronological order of the Mutia families from your area and from Romblon. We need to trace everyone so we can all gather together to reconnect our Roots.
Thank you for coming to us and we embrace you with the Mutia love and compassion. Take Care an dGod Bless!!!

Hello to all Mutia Clan! I was very much overwhelmed to know that there is such a mutiaclan website and it's very cool indeed. Actually, I was surfing the net for cebu real estate listings (I'm an in-house Property Consultant for Communities Phils. base in Cebu) when I found the Mutia Clan link through mabuhay realtors webpage. Anyway, I am the second son of Mrs. Celsa Mutia Manliguez. My grandfather was Marcelo "Tatay Eloy"Mutia and grandma Petronila "Nanay Petlong" Mutia. I heard from my late grandfather before that their family hails from Aloran. Then he moved to Cotabato got married with my grandma and raise 6 kids where my mother was the youngest. Because of the conflicts in the area, my grandpa decided to leave the place and moved to Baclay, Tukuran where he raise his family and where we are now currently residing. My grandpa past away 3 years ago at the ripe old age of 94y.o. My grandma died last 2002 at the age of 89. Though I was not able to attend any of the Mutia Clan reunions before for which I know is a very exciting and memorable one, but hopefully someday I will since I am very much eager now to meet other Mutia families from other parts of the world.;-) To all the Mutia Family, may God bless us always! :-) See yah!

Halo Arturo,
Nakaila na ko nimo kay ang akong sister nagsulti nako nga Apo diay ka sa Tuhod ni Tatay Genio. Your mother is Inday Celsa. Please tell her that I said Hello. I remember her staying at Tatay Genio and Nanay Sabel's house in Aloran while I was in High School. How is she doing nowadays. Ask her if she still remembers me. Tell her that my father was Delfin Mutia silingan sila kaniadto sa ilang Tatay Genio sa nagpuyo pa sila sa ilang Manang Masay nga balay. Tatay Iloy is the brother of Tiyo Colas Mutia. If you look at the website and click on the "Aloran Roots" then click on Alberto Mutia, then Hilario Mutia. you will find Eugenio Mutia as your Greatgrandfather. You can click on Eugenio and you will find the name of Tatay Iloy as one of Tatay Genio's children. I don't have information of his children. So, could you send me the information and photos of all of you including their photos too?
By the way, ask Inday Celsa if she can recall seeing a huge wall picture in Tatay Genio's sala. Could you ask her if she knows what happened to it? That photo showed Papo Beto or Alberto Mutia's photo. He is our Root. I can vividly remember a man with big ears (Tangkag). mao to siya si Papa Beto. Will you ask her if she knows what happened to that photo? Tiyo Colas doesn't remember where the photo is now.
I visited Tiyo Colas when I went home las April. In spite of poor eyesight, he looks great. I was so happy to see him again. He looks more like Tatay Genio.
I believe these are the only few of our Elders left in Papo Beto's family. Eugenio Mutia & Isabel Ocaya - Tiyo Colas Mutia (Aloran) Fidel Mutia & Sotera Quimno - Tiya Atring Mutia Buendia (Aloran) Pedro Mutia & Ana Paderanga - Auntie Panya Mutia Abadia (Makawa) Petra Mutia & husband Vapor - Nang Fannie Mutia Vapor (Pagadian)
So, it is so important to trace our elders because as they pass on and without recorded history. our offsprings are lost in their relations. Kumosta na lang ko ni Inday Celsa. Take Care and God Bless!!!

Hi! Since everyone posted their lineage, I insist I will too. Anyway, I'm not sure if you're familiar with my side of family. I am the youngest daughter of Hadja Fatima Mutia Tomawis from Tangkal, Lanao del Norte. Many had mentioned that they have been to Kolumbugan and even attended fiestas there, how come we haven't greet each other?hehe (feeling close!) hehe Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the reunion last year, it was kinda busy at home. Hope there wil be another reunion, with full of fun activities for youngsters! (just a suggestion ;) God Bless everyone! =) Ciao!

Hi Sittie,
Welcome to our family website. Yes, this is our webste and I would like to request your help in gathering your tree lines. I know that the Mutia Christian side of the family is traceable from the root of Watamama "Juan TamakTamak." I know that he had 7 siblings. Will you kindly help me gather the offsprings and descendants of the 7 siblings? It is easy for me to connect from the generation of a decade ago, but from that time on up, it is very difficult. We have scattered families all over the Misamis Occidental areas, and even in Aloran and its Barangays, many of them can not give me the definite answer of their roots. So, please help me. This is such a tremendous job, but I know in the end we will have pleasure and Blessing from the God we love because we are connecting our blood. Thank you again and welcome. Take Care and God Bless!!!
